We are Musical Bear Records

Established in 2015, Musical Bear Records is an independently owned record label. Our mission is to provide our artists a platform to further their careers by offering digital/CD/Vinyl distribution across the globe.

How we started

Musical Bear Records began as a one man operation. Let’s just call him Bear. 

Although initially only dealing in digital releases, Bear dreamt of putting out vinyl….just like a real record label. With the latest releases from Musical Bear he has achieved that goal, and he continues to provide a route into the big wide world for the music he loves. 

Musical Bear Records has an ever growing eclectic roster and will continue to not be constrained by a fear of what is ‘right' for the label. 

The Bear now has assistance from other artists on the label for the daily running of the 'business', and all art, video, promotion is done for free (or minimal cost) by like minded friends, the bands, or Bear himself. This is a label run with the love of music, a need to get good music heard, and a DIY, punk gang mentality that keeps us all together.
